Shalom, I'm Daniel. If you want a guide to the perplexities and delights of Israel, I can help. I'm both an insider and outsider: I was born in Israel but I lived in London for decades. A couple of years ago I joyfully returned to live in Jerusalem. So I am a local but I speak British English!
Formerly a copyright lawyer and a university lecturer in English literature - my Cambridge PhD is on Gulliver's Travels - I am now delighted to be a qualified tour guide, licensed by the Israel Ministry of Tourism.
Having taught for many years I hope I can help you learn something about the history and the many cultures of this fascinating holy land. But even more important - I am going to make sure that your tour will be a memorable, thought-provoking, and fun experience.
